How to get easy bot lobbies

Below you can generate and download OpenVPN configuration files that use NordVPN servers for different games.

These configs route your selected games matchmaking traffic through the selected country and server, effectively disrupting standard matchmaking, and matching you with lower skilled players or even bots(depending on the game).

Since only matchmaking traffic is rerouted, your in-game ping should remain unaffected.

** Preferably choose a Country that is far away from yours and it's late at night in their time zone.

This is not a 100% guaranteed method to get bot lobbies every single game. Instead it significantly increases your chances to get into bot lobbies very frequently and it works.

Test different servers at different times, and you will quickly find out what works best for you and which ones give you bot lobbies more frequently.

Rotate your location every few games (5+) and you will be fine.

You can create and download a few configs with different locations and import them all to OpenVPN, and then just right click, choose the one you want, and click connect.

How to test if it works: Check your IP on any website like whatismyip while you are connected to OpenVPN.

If it shows your real IP address, that means it's working and it will only route the game traffic. You are ready!

3. Generate Config

Now, it’s time to generate your config.

Choose a the game, country and a server and then click the generate config button.

4. Import the config

You need to import the config into your OpenVPN client. You can do it by clicking directly on the downloaded config file or you can drag it into the OpenVPN client, or you can right click on the OpenVPN taskbar icon, choose import config, and select the custom config.

5. Connect & Start Playing

Once you have added the config into your OpenVPN client you can connect to the server and start your game and enjoy easier lobbies.

The first time you connect with OpenVPN you will need to login with your NordVPN “service credentials” (not your email and password).
