Best PUBG Mobile Sensitivity Settings

It’s crucial to find the perfect sensitivity and apply the best settings not only because then you will be able to enjoy the game more, but you’ll also get much better at the game while not missing your shots. This guide focuses more on teaching you how to find the perfect settings for yourself rather than giving my recommendations and just blindly copying them.

There are four types of sensitivity on PubG Mobile: Free Look, General Camera, ADS, and Gyroscope.

Free Look

The Free Look is the small eye icon that controls the camera movement despite your character’s direction movement.

On the Free look tab, you’ll find three settings:

  • 3rd Person Camera
    • This setting determines the focus sensitivity only in 3rd person viewpoint.
  • Parachute Camera
    • This setting determines focus sensitivity only while parachuting.
  • 1st Person Camera
    • This setting determines focus sensitivity only in the 1st Person viewpoint.

It’s important to tweak your Free look sensitivity because it allows you to scan the area around you and spot potential enemies easily.

  • 3rd Person Camera
    • Set a value that allows you to do close to two full circles with one thumb swipe.
  • Parachute Camera
    • Use the same value with 3rd Person Camera settings.
  • 1st Person Camera
    • Set the value at half the value of the 3rd Person Camera settings

Now go into a training match and start moving around with your character and start moving your camera around you to start getting used to this sensitivity.

General Camera

The general camera movement is controller by your thumb as long as you are not shooting someone. There are four sections of settings in this tab, and if you notice, every setting from the first to the last is half the value of the previous one.

Now set up your settings like the photo below and follow the instructions after the photo to optimally set up your General Camera sensitivity settings.

Now you’ll need to adjust each setting one by one and percentage by percentage until you find the perfect sensitivity. If it looks too much of a hassle for you, don’t worry, I will explain the steps to make it as easy as possible.

Remember in every setting is that if your focus moves way too much, then lower the sensitivity. On the other hand, if it moves just a little bit, increase the sensitivity.

3rd Person No Scope & 1st Person No Scope

These two settings define the sensitivity of the camera movement when you are not aiming. The main purpose is to swap your character’s face directions and focus the general reticle on your target.

Set a value that allows you with a single finger swipe to see backwards.

Red Dot, Holographics, Aim Assist & 2x Scope

These settings define the motion sensitivity for basic sights and the 2x Scope. The main purpose is to maintain a big field of view when aiming at a close range. Your main focus should be the accuracy and then the motion tracking.

Set a value that enables you to quickly swap between two targets with a small thumb swipe move on your screen.

To achieve this, you can enter the training area and move between two targets without shooting them. Try to aim for the middle. Once you aim one at the middle, then quickly move to the next. Adjust and repeat until you are comfortable doing this a few times continuously.

About the movement tracking, again on training, try to aim at the middle of the target as much as you can. Adjust the settings and repeat until you find the sweet spot of sensitivity.

3x Scope, Win94 & 4x Scope, VSS

Movement sensitivity for 3x and 4x scopes. The main purpose of these scope settings is to achieve an excellent focus on targets that are neither close nor far away from you. Here you want to test the sensitivity on mid-range targets.

Enter the training and try focusing on headshots while keeping your aim steady. Try and repeat until you are comfortable with the sensitivity.

6x Scope & 8x Scope

Movement sensitivity for 6x Scopes & 8x Scopes. What you want to achieve here is; excellent precise focus at large ranges. Use the same method as the previous settings(mid-range), but this time, do it with faraway targets. Again, aim for the head until you are comfortable doing so.

ADS Sensitivity for zero recoil

The moment that you start shooting, you are moving from General Camera sensitivity to ADS Sensitivity. The settings section is actually the same as the General Camera settings one. The only thing different is the purpose of these settings.

Copy your General Camera sensitivity settings to ADS to have a good starting point.

3rd Person No Scope & 1st Person No Scope

In the ADS Sensitivity settings, these settings determine the sensitivity of the camera movements when you are hip-firing. To find the perfect sensitivity with zero recoils, go into training, get close to a moving target, and start shooting at it, aiming for the middle. Try doing this constantly. If it feels hard, change sensitivity and try again. By doing this a few times, you’ll finally achieve the perfect sensitivity.

Red Dot, Holographics, Aim Assist & 2x Scope

The main purpose of these is to control recoil at close range. Your focus here should be on keeping your reticle on the target while shooting on it. Start shooting at the target from 20 meters away and keep your thumb in a downward motion. If the reticle stays higher than the target, you should increase the sensitivity. If it’s lower than the target, decrease the sensitivity.

3x Scope, Win94 & 4x Scope, VSS

The main purpose of these is to control recoil at mid-range. The method of finding the best mid-range recoil sensitivity is the same as the close range above.

6x Scope & 8x Scope

The main purpose of these is to control single-fire recoil at long ranges. Here start from 1% 8x scope and try with a scope from long ranges. Start shooting few bullets each time, aiming a particular focus, and depending on the outcome, start tweaking the sensitivity.

If after shooting few bullets, most of them are over the target, then increase your sensitivity. If they are under the main target, then decrease your sensitivity. Do this until you can hit few shots in a row, exactly where you were aiming at. (Or as close as possible)
