Every modern PC can handle Genshin Impact with ease on relatably high fps. The main focus of players looking for the best Genshin Impact settings is to achieve the highest FPS possible, lowest input lag and latency, and have the smoothest possible gameplay.
Apart from those settings, it’s also important to optimize your mouse, control, and sensitivity settings. I am not the most experienced Genshin Impact player, so I will suggest you settings from Pro Genshin Impact players.
Below I will go over everything you need to know about Genshin Impact camera settings, controller settings, binds, graphics settings, and even sound settings. If you’ve played Genshin Impact for any time, you should have released that the default settings don’t allow you to play at your best potential.
Sticking to the default settings will disadvantage you no matter how good you are. So we will improve all the settings to get you the most benefits.
Also, at the end of this post, you’ll find resources to optimize your PC to achieve higher performance, fps, less input lag, and less latency in Genshin Impact and any other game you might be playing.
Best Genshin Impact settings
When it comes to the best Genshin Impact settings, whatever you may be looking for, you will probably find it in this guide.
I will go in-depth in every important setting and give you some suggestions from my experience or from my research on the best Genshin Impact Pro player’s settings.
Best Genshin Impact Control Settings
In the control settings tab, there are only three settings that you can change. Two are about the sensitivity when moving the camera, and the other is about choosing how you control the game—for example, Keyboard, Controller, etc.
- Control Type: Choose whatever you are playing with. (e.x Keyboard)
- Camera Sensitivity: 4
- Camera Sensitivity (Aimed Shot Mode): 4
You can test the above settings to find the perfect sensitivity for yourself. This is my recommendation, which comes from personal experience and what works best for most of the players.
Best Genshin Impact Graphics Settings
The graphics settings in Genshin Impact are the most crucial settings that will determine the game’s performance and how it looks. I aim to achieve the best performance possible and keep the quality of the graphics on balance because it has such beautiful graphics that it would be such a pity to play it on the lowest settings for just a few extra FPS.
- Graphics Quality: Custom
- Display Mode: Choose your native resolution plus Full Screen for optimal performance and FPS.
- FPS: 60
- V-Sync: Off
- Render Resolution: For most of you, 1.1 is the best option, but you can go higher or lower depending on your hardware.
- Shadow Quality: Lowest
- Visual Effects: Medium to High depending on your pc.
- SFX Quality: Medium to High depending on your pc.
- Environment Detail: Medium to High depending on your pc.
- Anti-Aliasing: If your PC can handle this, then go for SMAA. If not, then turn it off. TAA is not worth it.
- Volumetric Fog: Off
- Reflections: On
- Motion Blur: Off
- Bloom: Off
- Crowd Density: Low
- Co-Op Teammate Effects: On
- Subsurface Scattering: Off
If you are really getting low FPS in this game, then the best thing you can do is turn every off and lower every single setting to the lowest value. Your game won’t look the same, but at least it will be playable for you. On the other hand, if your pc can easily handle medium to High settings, I highly recommend you play around with the above settings and try to get the best visuals. The game looks so beautiful on the highest graphics.
Best Genshin Impact Sound Settings
Only a few options available in the Sound settings of Genshin Impact, which won’t make any dramatic changes.
- Volume: 10
- Music Volume: 8
- Dialogue Volume: 3
- SFX Volume: 10
Best Genshin Impact Other Settings
- Mini-Map Settings: Try both Fix and Rotating mini-maps and see which one works better for you.
- Camera Y-Axis Resets Automatically: On
- Combat Camera Settings: On
- Default Camera Distance: 6
- Auto-Play Story: Off
- Verify File Integrity: If you are experiencing FPS drops, lags, crashes, or general issues with Genshin Impact, then a possible fix would be to verify the file’s integrity. Just press the button Start Verification.
How to change Genshin Impact voice and text Language
In Genshin Impact, unlike many other games, there is an option to change text and voice in-game Language. It can be easily achieved by navigating to the settings menu. Below you can find step by step how to change Genshin Impact Languages.
Navigate to the settings of Genshin Impact and click on Language.
On the right side now, you can see two settings. Game Language changes the text language that you’ll see in-game, and the Voice-Over Language, which changes the language that the in-game characters are speaking. The available languages for Voice-Over Language for Genshin Impact are Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
You can unistall any Voice Over languages by clicking on Manage Voice-Over File, and choosing unistall.

Where are the settings in Genshin’s impact?
You can get into Genshin Impact settings by pressing the ESC button on your keyboard and then clicking on the Gear Icon on the bottom left side.
Why is Genshin’s impact ping so high?
The first thing you should make sure of is that you are connected to the right server. By right server, I mean the game server that is closer to your location. If, for example, you live in Germany, the perfect server for you would be the European one.
Can I change my Genshin Impact server?
Changing the Genshin Impact server is pretty easy. You can do so in the main menu of the game but keep in mind that you can not transfer your characters from one server to the other one.
